GENERAL GRADING TERMS:

MINT (M) or C-10 (Condition 10) A mint item is in absolute perfect condition. NO flaws of any kind (no tears, no scratches, no markings or writing, no holes, creases or dents. VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE to find anything (including NEW items) in this condition. Most objects in "mint" condition command PREMIUM PRICES, usually several times listed "mint" price!

NEAR MINT (NM) or C-8 or better. At first these objects appear to be mint, but upon closer examination- very minor and sometimes inconsequential flaws can be seen. Prices can still range from 80% of listed "mint" prices to, in some instances, still several times listed "mint" prices, depending on the item, scarcity and desirability.

FINE (F) or C-7. A very nice piece, highly desirable and basically in "new looking" condition.

VERY GOOD (VG) or C-6. Object shows visible signs of wear. Minor faults, such as creases, scratches, dents, folds, stains, very minor tears or rips are acceptable.

GOOD (G) or C-4 or better. The least desirable condition in collecting, but still an acceptable condition depending on the item. The item shows more wear and tear and is in a generally "used" condition.

POOR- Anything lower in overall condition, Must have, at least, ONE REDEAMING FEATURE to make it still "sellable" or useable enough to keep it away from the landfill.
